Apparently they claim to be from Virgin Media, but I gave them a piece of my mind, these peoples lack of inteligence is staggering as they rang me two days prior on the same number claiming to be Sky.

Claimed to be from Virgin Media, wanting to discuss my account and verify if I was the account holder. After I confirmed, they disconnected. I’m concerned they might share my details elsewhere. This doesn’t seem like Virgin’s usual approach, especially since the caller had a foreign accent.
Repeated calls were made to my husband's mobile, allegedly from Virgin Media, asking to confirm personal details, which raised suspicions due to the strong Indian accent and noisy background.
Referring to themselves as Virgin NEDIA (not MEDIA!), this is definitely a scam. Avoid any interaction; they operate several numbers including 0800 052 7551 and another highlighted below in yellow! If you pick up, remain silent. If there's no response, it prompts their call centre in India to answer. The entire setup is designed to mislead you.
It’s the same group of scammers using yet another number. I’ve promptly blocked it.

Virgin Media genuinely tried to sell me additional TV channels.
Numerous calls from this and similar numbers, allegedly linked to Virgin Media based on what’s reported here. I find it hard to believe. The calls are either silent or hang up after I’ve greeted them multiple times. I’m worried they’re recording my voice, and I won’t engage with these numbers again. I block them and plan to email Virgin’s customer service.
Numerous similar numbers have been persistently calling. I only answered once and requested them to stop.
Despite my request to cease contact, this number has called me nine times in the past week, including once after I informed them the person they were trying to reach was hospitalised.
This individual is clearly a harasser, attempting to obtain confidential informations from me, I have warned them not to contact me again, and I hope they take heed of this warning, DO NOT CALL ME AGAIN!
Apparently, they're attempting to extract information from me, which is quite concerning since I've never been a Virgin customer.
My phone identified this number as spam after a missed call, and considering I recently signed up with Virgin Broadband, it seems futile if their intention was to scam me into upgrading; the question remains, how do these scammers obtain personal details of Virgin customers?

Haven't answered this number. If it's Virgin, they should leave a message. Doubt they will, though, being clueless about it. Companies like this need better-educated staff instead of wasting resources on pointless calls. Maybe they'll improve, but I'm skeptical.
It seems likely that if someone is blocked from calling a mobile number, they will attempt to call again using a different number, so I simply ignore the call and dont engage with them
