I received multiple calls to both my mobile and landline regarding suspicious activity on my bank card. After visiting my bank and speaking with David on the fraud line, it was confirmed that the number of calls matched their records, although they could not verify the number itself. I believe the calls may be genuine, but this has not been confirmed.
Despite not answering their initial three calls, I subsequently contacted NatWest, who verified that their fraud team had indeed attempted to reach me. I then called the 0800 number, and they promptly reviewed my card transactions, cancelled the card, and issued a replacement.
