The caller said it was my bank, and knew my name, but it was all computerised, and kept asking for numbers, and date of birth, it was an obvious scam
Fortunately, the NW Fraud Team intervened when a transaction was flagged as suspicious, prompting other companies to attempt further transactions, which were subsequently stopped, and a new card is being issued by the bank.
This is the NW Fraud Team. A transaction of mine was stopped yesterday as it was flagged as fraudulent. Other companies are now linking to this transaction, and I've had other amounts flagged as suspicious. My old card has been stopped, and a new one is on its way. The bank has confirmed the new card. Also, NOT a foreign person.

Prior to checking this website, I suspected a scam and was cautious when the caller asked me to press 1, but I refrained from doing so, having already received multiple calls that morning, and I will also be monitoring my Natwest account.
I had a call from this number at 9am, after getting texts about my card being blocked, i didnt answer, thinking it might be a scam, but then i checked the texts again and responded to one, and now my card is unblocked.
