Ever received a frantic call about a massive Walmart purchase you never made? This scam preys on your fear of unauthorized charges, looping a fake alert about a $919.45 PlayStation 5 order to trick you into pressing 1 and sharing personal info. It's a classic robocall tactic designed to sound urgent and official, but Walmart doesn't handle high-value orders like this over unsolicited calls. Hang up immediately if you spot red flags like repeated scripts or pressure to act fast. Block the number, report it to the FTC, and monitor your accounts for any real issues—better safe than sorry with these phishing attempts that could lead to identity theft.
