Calls from this number often claim to be from Virgin, yet they hang up as soon as you answer. The pattern matches typical spoofed telecom scam where the caller pretends to represent a well‑known brand to harvest personal info. Since the number isn’t listed on Virgin’s official contact pages, treat any unsolicited request for account details, payments, or device upgrades as suspicious. Hang up immediately, avoid callbacks, and verify the request through the company’s official website or phone line. Use your phone’s block feature, report the call to the FTC, and consider a call‑filtering app for extra protection.
