Expert Opinion
Around midnight, a burst of alerts flashes on the screen, each promising a delivery, a credit‑score boost, or a frozen account. Most of these messages share the same playbook: a fake brand name, a sense of urgency, and a link that leads to credential harvesting. Phishing and spam texts like these thrive on panic, so pause before you tap any link or call a number. Verify the claim directly with the institution using a known phone number or website, enable two‑factor authentication, and consider blocking the sender. Regularly review your carrier’s spam‑filter settings and report suspicious numbers to help curb the flood.

Apparently, replying to origional messages is crucial. I recieved a text from 1(410)100-000, followed by another from 1(410)100-001, then 1(410)100-002, and 1(410)100-003. Sending "stop" to all of them resulted in an error, except when I sent it to the 000 number. I havn't gotten a reply yet, but we'll see if it's done for good. Thanks for the advice!
