Expert Opinion

This is a scam call
I got a call from a company that sent me a modem when i signed up for softbank, they told me i could get a cheaper plan if i switched to KDDI
As soon as I pointed out the oddness, the line was cut off.
I'm curious to know how they found out I use SoftBank's optical internet service.
Claimed to be a SoftBank fiber optic agent from Sakata
When I stopped work to answer the phone, it was a scam, which is really annoying
The caller mentioned a SoftBank campaign, but then tried to persuade me to switch to au Hikari.
Apparently, this is a campaign targeting SoftBank users, offering a discount if they switch to au.
I responded with uncertainty, and the caller became aggressive, prompting me to end the call immediately.
This is a scam
してしまったようです。
This call mentioned replacing my home modem, likely an attempt to install malware or a backdoor
Unfortunately, I agreed to the offer. What should I do now? Please provide urgent assistance.
ヒライという名前の人から以前ソフトバンク光の取り次ぎのような電話がかかってきた
I just received a call from this number.
The caller mentioned that they were from a company called Kaiten Porter and were confirming the handling of premium gift certificates at our store
This group seems to be lacking in education and intelligence.
I got a call from some sales lady claiming to be from ソフトバンク光, she was talking too fast.
I just received a call from this number now
they mencioned somethin about mizuo chan but didnt make any sence
They introduced themselves as SoftBank, but when I asked, they were trying to convince me to switch to KDDI's au Hikari.
Was asked if I used a SoftBank line and told about a campaign to reduce rates; when I asked if such calls should be expected from SoftBank, the call was abruptly cut off
Similarly, the caller introduced themselves as a SoftBank representative and tried to convince me to switch to KDDI, emphasizing the cost savings and other benefits of canceling my current plan.
Although they introduced themselves as a SoftBank 光 partner, they told me that switching to au 光 would be cheaper. However, I mentioned that I would lose discounts on my current plan, so they immediately hung up
Same as above.
