On a Saturday at 12:30PM, I received a call from someone claiming to represent Westpac Bank, specifically a woman named Alady, who was supposedly calling about a commission. However, the call abruptly disconnected.

A charity agency, based in Perth, contacted me with a softly spoken lady discussing social justice and donations, eventually requesting direct debit details, which I had to decline due to my financial situation.
Today, I got two calls from this WA number. Appreciate the warnings here. From now on, I’ll avoid picking up 08 numbers.

A very courteous young adult was trying to raise funds for a palliative care unit at a Catholic-run aged care facility. They were from WA while I am in Victoria. I promised to assist, and they already had my mailing address, which raised some concerns. Legitimate paperwork will be sent to me.
