They responded rudely when I expressed disinterest.
A Sydney number, apparently from the same Wesave group, claimed they could reduce my electricity costs and possibly taxes. When I said I was satisfied with my providers, they insisted they weren’t selling energy, then tried to pitch again. After I mentioned being on the Do Not Call register, the caller offered to remove my number to stop further calls.
That telemarketer was extremely impolite!

After I answered and asked them to cease calls, they called me seven additional times, each of which I declined, yet they persisted.
I received calls that seemed to have no purpose.
The person called, speaking with a wired accent, said they were from WeSave and asked if I qualified for energy discounts; after clarifying my rent payments, they thanked me and hung up without further explanation.
They proposed a discount linked to AGL electricity, requesting my name, postcode, and my husband’s name. The operator spoke with a heavy accent that was hard to understand, making the call confusing and irritating.
This is a marketing scam.
They claimed to represent We Save but refused to explain how they obtained my contact. I also got a mailed letter from them, and I'm clueless about how they gathered so much of my information.
