Got a similiar call - I asked how they got my number and the guy said I registered it as my buisness number. Then he asked if I could help and if my buisness would be listed as helping the community...he sounded scared when I questioned him and hung up

Anwsered the phone and the guy said 'is this [my buisness name]?' I said 'yeah', and he said 'this is [his name]'. Then he asked who I was and I told him...then he just hung up
Called me from the police association, trying to sell me an ad in some book about kids and drugs
This number called me, asking for the buisness owner - which is me, apperently. I'm not listed in the White or Yellow Pages, so I asked how they got my number, and they just said they get given lists to call. When I talked to the manager, Robert, he was super rude and refused to take me off their call list.

Had a similiar experience...they said they were from the Federal Police Family Protection Unit and asked to speak to the boss. I told 'em the boss wasn't in and asked for a callback number. The chick on the phone got all flustered and hung up - sounded like a total scam to me
