Expert Opinion
Late Tuesday night, the number +61399775957 kept popping up on several callers' screens, mostly offering brief surveys about TV habits or local councils. While the caller often claims to be from a market‑research firm like Kantar, many recipients treat the ring‑up as a potential scam because the call ends abruptly or the questions feel intrusive. If you’re on the Do Not Call Register, note that social‑research calls are exempt, but you’re still free to decline. Hang up politely, block the number, and report repeated unwanted calls to the communications regulator. Never share personal details unless you verify the caller’s identity.

An automated call rang and immediately disconnected; I’ve blocked these nuisances.
The call seemed to originate from Kantar Market Research; I received several recent calls, none left a voicemail. When I returned the call, a recorded greeting identified the company. Unsolicited and irritating.
Several recent calls from (03) 9977 5957, (03) 9977 5954, and (02) 9197 4742 arrived without voicemails; returning them led to a recording that named Kantar Market Research, which I consider unsolicited and bothersome.

A call came in from this number at 7:30 PM; I let it go to voicemail, received no message, and after checking other users’ comments, I chose to block it.
No answer, no message. Clearly a scam with all these coments.
Seriosly folks, its worth notting that research calls from companies doing surveys for councils and hospitals arent actualy covered by the Do Not Call Register. Its mainly aimed at blocking unwanted sales calls. Companys will try to claim theyre not selling anything, but if they start with 'how are you today' you know whats up. Legit research companys will introduce themselves and tell you how long the call will take. Be cool with the people calling, theyre just doing their job, even if its for a shady company.
No answer, no message. Scam city. Not cool.
Missed the call and no voicemail was left; with many previous reports labeling it a scam, I don’t trust this number.
No answer, no message. Another scam. Blocked. Again.
