I’ve blocked the spam caller now.
An unexpected caller inquired if I was Debra.
The person said it was a Lifestyle Survey, not targeting English speakers; I said I wasn’t interested, hung up, and blocked the number, yet they keep calling a few times a week. They seemed to be fishing for a yes, even knowing my name, so I answer “speaking” instead of confirming.
The caller said they were based in South Africa for CCI, doing a lifestyle survey for an Aussie firm, and had called five times before I answered and warned them off. It appears to be an identity scam seeking recorded consent, so I advise blocking the number.

The number keeps dialing me; when I answer there's silence, then a recorded message says they'll try again later in the day.
Even after blocking, they keep calling and leave a voicemail claiming to be “Prospects Direct”. If only they’d prospect somewhere less annoying—likely where these calls originate. Added to block list.
Just another spam call, ugh.
Hopefully police or a government agency will act against these scammers.
An international call centre is running a scam; give them nothing and add them to your block list.
