A message was left, addressing the recipient by their first name, which seemed unusual and raised concerns.
A person, allegedly from Telstra in Melbourne, contacted the recipient, stating that their IP address had been compromised, and when the recipient suggested visiting a store, the caller insisted that the issue could only be resolved over the phone, before hanging up when questioned further.
The caller is a scammer, i replied with a sms asking for details but it wasnt deliverd.
A telesales call from overseas claimed to be about a government solar rebate but seemed to be spam, as they were seeking someone who had not been at the address for eight years, indicating outdated data.
I missed the call and when i called back it said it cant be connected, thats a scammer for sure.
Apparently a deceitful individul replied to my call with an sms asking for detalis and it was not delivered sucessfully
