Someone claiming to be a bank employee contacted me after attempting to scam me via WhatsApp and OLX. They claimed to be verifying a suspicious transaction that didn't actually occur, and tried to convince me to download an app that supposedly improves security but could allow remote device takeover.
A reminder from my Credit Agricole representative: never share private information when speaking with a bank employee.
