Fortunately, I investigated the number and discovered it was a scam, with the caller claiming to represent a collection agency called ccs and possessing knowledge of my surname.
A caller requesting my banking details claimed to be from an organization called CRA, allegedly working on behalf of various companies including EE, BT, THREE, VODAFONE, TALKTALK, and SKY. I refused to provide the requested information.
They called me today, saying they couldnt proceed with the call without my security details, they claimed to have sent a letter on 31 December, but I told them I will wait for the letter, they were calling themselves ccs based in London, but I couldnt find any relevant informations
A call was made to my home from this number claiming to be CRS, asking for my son by name; I informed them he no longer lives here, and they agreed to remove his name from their list.
