Someone pretended to be from Sky, asking how much my devices would cost to set up insurance protection. I already had coverage, so I wasn’t sure how to respond.
They claimed to represent Sky Mobile, yet I have no contract with them. Having previously been duped by similar tactics, I ended the call promptly and blocked the number.

A Sky representative called to offer extra laptop insurance for a fee. I declined; they were courteous, spoke clearly, and I understood everything they said.
The call pretended to be from Sky about my newly installed Sky Stream and asked to verify security; I refused and asked how they could prove they were Sky, then they hung up straight away. This is a scam number and Sky should be informed.
A call came through to my landline; I answered but said nothing, and after about half a minute the line dropped. Within seconds my mobile rang from the same number, displaying Sky as the caller. Our landline is no longer listed. This is a total scam – Sky themselves have plenty to answer for given the endless issues we’ve had with their mobile service.
