Uzman görüşü
Take heed: calls from +44 800 389 0755 are widely reported as originating from Santander, yet the line is also frequently spoofed for fraudulent schemes. Before divulging any personal or banking details, confirm the caller’s identity by hanging up and dialing the official number printed on your card or found on Santander’s website. Beware of unsolicited security questions and pressure tactics – legitimate banks rarely request sensitive data via unexpected calls. Keep a record of the call timestamp and consider reporting suspicious activity to your bank’s fraud team and to the relevant consumer protection authority. Verify the number, question unexpected requests, and report any abuse promptly.

I don't bank with Santander, so I'm puzzled why they'd call. While some comments here say it's genuine, it could also be spoofed. My advice is to hang up politely, then call the number on your bank card. But first, phone someone you trust to ensure the line is clear! Please share this advice so it doesn't get lost.
