Received this call while out; it seemed genuine, but I didn't share info. I told them I'd contact Santander later, and they noted it.

Take heed: calls from +44 800 389 0755 are widely reported as originating from Santander, yet the line is also frequently spoofed for fraudulent schemes. Before divulging any personal or banking details, confirm the caller’s identity by hanging up and dialing the official number printed on your card or found on Santander’s website. Beware of unsolicited security questions and pressure tactics – legitimate banks rarely request sensitive data via unexpected calls. Keep a record of the call timestamp and consider reporting suspicious activity to your bank’s fraud team and to the relevant consumer protection authority. Verify the number, question unexpected requests, and report any abuse promptly.

My parents were harassed by numerous calls from this number, which was spoofing the Santander number. The scammers requested personal and security information, but fortunately, Santander was helpful and confirmed it was a scam. I urge everyone to be cautious and report such incidents.

Claimed to be Santander asking security questions. I won’t provide that info over the phone. If genuine, it’s unrealistic for Santander to expect this.

While this could be an authentic Santander line, fraudulent actors frequently mimic it. An individual with an Indian accent requested excessive private details under the guise of security checks, which genuine staff wouldn't require. I terminated the conversation and recommend verifying through official channels before sharing sensitive data.
This number is confirmed to be from Santander Mortgage
I can verify that this call is indeed from Santander. I received calls on both my mobile and landline, but they went to voicemail. The message indicated that I should urgently contact them, assuring me it wasn't a sales call. When I tried to call back, I received an automated response stating that I had missed their call, so I decided to disregard it. About half an hour later, I got a text asking me to call a different number, 0800 151 3151. Out of curiosity, I returned the call and was informed that my account had been suspended due to a cheque I had written four days prior, which raised suspicions. They knew the payee and the amount. After ending that call, I reached out to the cheque recipient, who confirmed it had been rejected. I called back and resolved the issue.

Over the last three days, this number has been calling my mobile and landline daily, I havent answered as its an unknown number, no message was left, I have a mortgage with Santander, but if it was them, why didnt they leave a message, I'd advise others to be cautious and ring your bank on a known number, if necesary, this is probaly a scam
This call was legitimate and from Santander. I had applied for an everyday current account, but since I was a victim of fraud last year, they needed to ask additional security questions before moving forward with my application.
Santander reached out, and I called them back for additional details. The information request was unsettling, so if unexpected, it’s best to call them directly to avoid potential spoofing. In my case, I was anticipating the call, and the necessary account update was completed using this number.
This was indeed Santander calling back as promised. I verified the number on this site!
Following a call requesting personal details, I verified the authenticity by contacting the bank separately, and they confirmed it was a legitimate call from one of their numbers.

Since I don’t have an account with them, there’s no need for me to get in touch regarding my account. This was a scam call using a spoofed number.
I received voicemails and text messages allegedly from Santander, stating my accounts would be blocked and my mortgage had expired; however, the calls are sophisticated scams, as I don't have an account or mortgage with them.
