Warning of bad and cautionary experience
This number appeard as a missed call, seems like its making the scam rounds agian, so its been locked.
Today i recieved a call from this phone number, the person said they were from Virgin Media, and that my contract would end in two months time, and they could offer me a better deal, when i told them i wasn't prepared to pay more money, they hung up, i have now blocked the number
This number called me 4 times today, I ignored the first 3 calls and answered the 4th, but the person on the other end was persistant and continuted to call back despite my request to stop
Immediately after asking them why they wanted to talk to me, they cut the line!
I receive multiple calls from this number throughout the day and evening, sometimes up to six times a day, but fortunately, my phone is set to block unknown numbers, so they cannot get through.
Claimed to be from virgin media, wanted to send me equiptment or my phone line would be disconected, hung up and called virgin media, was told no one had called me!
