Pretending to represent RBS services for Nationwide, Santander, and Natwest, they mentioned security concerns. Allegedly, transactions were made on my account, and a direct debit of £392 was processed. Eventually, they suggested creating a new account to transfer funds, claiming the old one was compromised. They spoke at length, sounding credible and asking expected fraud-related questions. Sensing something off, I ended the call and contacted Nationwide's fraud team, who confirmed it was entirely fraudulent.

They’ve called me four times in the last two days. I’ve now blocked them.
These 0800 calls keep coming to my landline. I always ignore them, and they never leave a message. Probably a scam.
After missing their call on September 6th, I read the comments here and blocked the number. Despite this, they called three times on the 7th, twice on the 8th, three times on the 9th, and three times today (10th). Although my phone blocks them, it still notifies me of the attempts. You’d think they’d realize they’re not getting through by now. It’s harassment at this point. Be cautious!
