The analysis of the comments and caller types reveals a suspicious pattern of behaviour from the caller, with multiple reports of scam attempts targeting elderly individuals. The caller claims to be from a care alarm system company, using persuasive tactics to obtain debit card details and payment. The consistency of the reports suggests a coordinated effort to deceive vulnerable individuals, with some callers even using fake names like "Andrew" or "Sam Wilson". It is essential to exercise caution when receiving calls from unknown numbers, especially when they request sensitive information or payment.

One of my elderly clients got a call this morning from a man who sounded convincing. He said his name was Sam Wilson from Care line. Sadly, my client shared her debit card details, but I arrived soon after and helped her cancel the card with the bank.
They used this number to scam my 90 year old father, claiming to be from the NHS, offering him an alarm pendant, sadly they were sucessful
I was provided this number to verify a call from 02037699839, supposedly from a care alarm system company requesting payment for the next 12 months. The caller only provided a name when asked and ended the call when I appeared suspicious.
This is a scam call
Received a phone call and a message was left for my mum, who passed away in 2019. My dad thought it might be the hospital, but thankfully, I checked the comments here. Thanks so much. P.S., it was someone named Andrew.
The caller attempted to obtain my debit card details, applying pressure by stating that the card was near expiration and that the alarm system would cease to function; however, they quickly ended the call when they realised their tactics were unsuccessful
This caller claimed to be from UK healthcare.
An individual named Andrew Williams contacted my elderly mother, claiming her alarm service was outdated and requesting her credit card details. When she mentioned that her daughter handles such matters and asked for his contact information, he became visibly irritated. Attempts to reach this supposed 'Mr Andrew Williams' have been unsuccessful, leading me to believe it’s a scam.
On Friday, 27th September 2024, I encountered a suspicious caller who claimed to be associated with my father's emergency call system, which is provided by the council through NRS Healthcare; the caller had access to my parents' full address details, prompting me to investigate further
Contacted an elderly lady, claiming her alarm service needed renewing. The caller, who said his name was Andrew Williams, couldn’t be reached when I tried to call back on her behalf. Unsure if this was genuine.
