Since I couldn't make the call, I contacted the number on the back of my debit card and was advised that the call was likely fake. The calls cost me £1 per minute to receive and £1.50 per minute to make, which is unacceptable. I'm also concerned that they obtained my new phone number, despite only having my previous number on record.
