Those from Virgin Media keep ringing months before my renewal, even multiple times a day – I told them I’d call when ready, they said they'd call back later, but I blocked them, cheers.

Block the number right away and never give out personal details. Most callers pretending to be Virgin Media use low‑quality recordings and aggressive scripts to push upgrades or steal security answers. Hang up as soon as the conversation turns vague, and report the nuisance to your phone provider’s spam‑filter service. Register your line with the national do‑not‑call list to cut down on similar robocalls. If you’re already a Virgin Media customer, contact the official support line directly instead of trusting the caller. Keep a log of call times and share it with the carrier — it helps them investigate and shut down the fraudulent operation.

These Virgin Media promos seem legitimate, yet they kept calling despite me opting out, forcing me to block the number. I’d have chosen a different provider if I’d known they'd be so persistent.
Please block this caller, mate.
I have blocked the number.
They pretended to be Virgin Media, speaking with a strong Indian accent, and couldn't explain how they obtained my number. As I've never been a customer, I recognized it as a scam and blocked them.
When I answered, the caller claimed to be Virgin Media and wanted to upgrade my internet. After checking my account, they realized I had just upgraded, apologized, and ended the call politely.
No answer, just let it ring and hung up without a message. Checked Who Called Me and will block the number, mate.
My husband was convinced despite my doubts, even seeing a red exclamation mark on his phone. The caller pressured us to switch our mobile to O2, which I refused. I convinced him to hang up and handle the matter via the Virgin Media website, where we secured a better deal without any phone‑change request. All marketing calls have since been stopped by Virgin Media. If the call had been legitimate, its high‑pressure tactics – threatening a doubled monthly bill – were poor marketing.
The person claimed to be from Virgin Media, but it was clearly a scam – Virgin never calls from random numbers. Oddly, they knew my name, suggesting my details were exposed online.
Appears to be a scam operation masquerading as Virgin Media.
Yesterday I got a call that seemed aware of my long‑term Virgin subscription and pitched a better plan, demanding security details. After hanging up I tried reaching Virgin’s customer service or fraud team with no luck. The caller rang back twice, and although the number pretended to be Virgin Media, it feels like a scam.
An unsolicited call claimed to be Virgin Media, so I hung up.
Appears safe.
Based on other posts, it’s Virgin Media – makes sense as I’m a customer. They’ve rung me six times this week at random hours, never leaving a message, even though I’m opted out of marketing. It’s proper annoying, so I blocked them, cheers.
Honestly, I'm a Virgin Media subscriber who ticked NO for marketing, yet they keep pestering me despite telling them repeatedly I'm not interested in sales and have no time. They claim it'll only take a couple of minutes, shouting over me rudely even after I've given a firm NO. They always ring at the worst possible moments! I'm lodging a complaint because it's proper awful, cheers.
When I refused to verify my address, the line dropped, so I’m pretty sure it was a phishing attempt, mate.
Being an existing customer, I questioned why I received a scam call and blocked the number.
Offering plans from Virgin Media.
Someone claimed to represent Virgin Media about a mobile offer, but I have no contract with them, so I blocked the number after suspecting a scam from online reviews.
After two attempts, I decided not to answer following the reports here and blocked the number.
They've been calling daily since 24 March, eight times recently, and previously as well. No messages left – just a nuisance, mate.
A woman called offering an upgraded package for just £7 more per month. She sent a pre-contract for review.
Another call from Virgin. Blocked.
They keep calling relentlessly and ignore my rejections. The caller had an Indian accent and is undoubtedly running a scam. I recently signed up with Virgin and have no interest in their costly upfront upgrades!
Following research, it appears this number is utilised by a scammer posing as Virgin media, therefore recomendation is to block this number imediatly.
An Indian woman insisted my Virgin package was due for renewal, but I recently renewed it. A second call from an Indian man made the same claim. Both were ignored, and the number is now blocked. Clearly scammers.
This number is from Virgin Media. They are harassing and bullying. It's best to ignore and block.
