When I answered, the caller claimed to be Virgin Media and wanted to upgrade my internet. After checking my account, they realized I had just upgraded, apologized, and ended the call politely.

My husband was convinced despite my doubts, even seeing a red exclamation mark on his phone. The caller pressured us to switch our mobile to O2, which I refused. I convinced him to hang up and handle the matter via the Virgin Media website, where we secured a better deal without any phone‑change request. All marketing calls have since been stopped by Virgin Media. If the call had been legitimate, its high‑pressure tactics – threatening a doubled monthly bill – were poor marketing.

They keep calling relentlessly and ignore my rejections. The caller had an Indian accent and is undoubtedly running a scam. I recently signed up with Virgin and have no interest in their costly upfront upgrades!
Following research, it appears this number is utilised by a scammer posing as Virgin media, therefore recomendation is to block this number imediatly.
An Indian woman insisted my Virgin package was due for renewal, but I recently renewed it. A second call from an Indian man made the same claim. Both were ignored, and the number is now blocked. Clearly scammers.
This number is from Virgin Media. They are harassing and bullying. It's best to ignore and block.
