After updating our address with NatWest, they provided this number for future communications since we're over 70. I used it again today to reach NatWest and it turned out to be completely legitimate.
Confirmed with my bank that this is indeed a NatWest number. I had previously been a victim of fraud, and my account was misused by someone in Liverpool. The bank verified the number when I called to check.
Haven't recieved a call yet, but got an email on 22nd January 2021 about assistance for all banking with Nat West. Like the other comments, I felt uncertain. (Comments are from earlier in 2020). I will still check it out and warned my family just in case.
