This number is legitimate. Nevertheless, I recommend reaching out to your bank using the contact details on your Debit/Credit Card for verification. One night, my daughter received an automated text from this number alerting her about a suspicious £399 transaction attempt from her account. Initially, I suspected it was a scam and advised her to delete it. However, the following day, we received further calls from this number, this time on our landline. I chose to contact the bank directly using the number on her card, and it turned out the text was indeed genuine. Her Debit card needed to be cancelled due to multiple fraudulent attempts.
Whilst this number is genuine, I would advise always verifying the authentisity of the call by contacting your bank directly using the number on the back of your debit or credit card, as we discovered when my daughter recieved a robot text message from this number, which initialy appeared to be a scam, but was later found to be a legitimate concern regarding a suspect fraudulent purchase attempt.
This isn’t Santander; it’s a claims company named Allay. Blocked immediately!
Why would Santander contact me regarding a fraudulent transaction on an account I've never held? It seems highly suspicious, and I'd advise against sharing any personal details as this appears to be a scam.
It is extremely disrespectful to call someone and hang up once they answer. It's also unprofessional to call a registered TPS business line and do the same.
Received a cold call from ‘Protect my Pockets’. No prior interaction, but they appear to be a legitimate company.
