A woman called, addressing me by name, and offered discounted monthly rates from the 3 Network. After expressing my disinterest, she failed to end the call, citing company policy. A call was made from this number, offering me a switch to the 3 network on a SIM-only contract and also offering a broadband deal. They knew my name and that I had been browsing online for phone deals. Although I had looked at 3's deals earlier, I hadn't pursued it further. They mentioned I passed a credit check, with no upfront payment required, and I provided my bank card details to set up the SIM and broadband deal, which is scheduled for delivery on Monday, 25th November 2024. It seems legitimate.
