I keep receiving calls from this number. The caller has an Indian accent, says they're from HSBC, and asks for my DOB, address, etc.
They repeatedly called, posing as HSBC and asking for my date of birth and postcode.
They keep ringing me up to twice daily, yet I never answer or listen to any voicemail they leave. Even after blocking similar numbers, they simply call from a new line. I'm going to block this one as well.
Within two days, six call attempts were made. I ignored every ring and later confirmed via this site that the number is a scam. It’s unsettling that many, like my favourite HSBC customers, are being impersonated – makes you wonder where they sourced the data! The number is now blocked.

On the fourth attempt I answered, pretended to be HSBC, heard traffic noise in the background, and hung up after confirming it was bogus.
