Vanquis code scam: what to watch out for! - +44 7984 357488 (07984 357488)

As a carer for a blind woman, I received a call from someone suspicious. Thankfully, I was with her when they asked for her security number. I intervened, questioning why they needed it. The caller claimed they couldn't speak to me, so I offered to contact Vanquis myself. He became aggressive, threatening me, and still demanded the security number. He seemed desperate. Please be cautious and don't share any information. Contact Vanquis directly.

After attempting to access the Vanquish app and being sent codes, it became apparent that the situation was suspicious, prompting a check on the number and subsequent blocking of the card, as the scammers' app closely resembles Vanquis.

Beware of the individuals behing this number, thay are 100% scamers who try to gain acess by claming to be part of a fraud preventative team from both Vanquish and Nationwide, seperate companys, dont confim the code they will send you and dont confim any code related to Google or Apple Pay

A suspicious call was made to me today by an individual claiming to represent Vanquis, who attempted to convince me to share a code sent to my phone, but I became wary when I discovered numerous fraud reports associated with the provided mobile number.

I was targeted by a scammer posing as my credit card company, claiming suspicious transactions had occurred; although I provided some information, I became suspicious and refused to proceed, leading to the caller abruptly ending the conversation.

Not sure who this is, but they mentioned a registration code for an app I didn't apply for with Vanquis.

This is a Vanquis scam, they said there was a fraudulent transaction on my account, and then asked for a security code, which i provided, and then they hacked my Clearpay account, and spent £300, absolutly disgusting

I recieved a Vanquis bank security code from this number, but I dont have any accounts with Vanquis.
