This EE number appeared as Alan Harrison on my phone. Contacted EE directly, and they confirmed it’s a fraudulent scheme using their number. They’re currently investigating the matter.

Received a call from 01303273620 about a 45% discount on my monthly bill due to poor service. They asked for my email and details about my payments. I told them they should already know that, but they insisted it needed to be confirmed. I refused to provide it, then a Manager called my mobile. When I mentioned checking them out at the office, he offered to ring back in an hour. I advised him to contact the Met Police Fraud squad and he hung up.

It is ironic that this number, 07953 966 250, is indeed a scam, as the caller managed to extract some information from me, but I withheld crucial details, and when I contacted O2 to verify, they confirmed it was not one of their numbers, and the call was answered by someone claiming to be from EE.
