Szakértői vélemény
Calls from that number usually drop you into an EE voicemail greeting, often with no actual message left. The pattern of repeated rings, silent answer‑phone recordings and sudden text alerts is typical of spoofed carrier‑service numbers. To stay safe, avoid calling the number back – any connection can generate unexpected charges. Instead, check your inbox directly through the official EE app or website, and delete any suspicious voicemails. Use your phone’s block feature or report the number to EE’s spam‑filtering service. If a text asks for personal data or a PIN, treat it as phishing and ignore it. Regularly review your call‑log for similar patterns.

I got a text urging me to listen to a message on 222‑soinds, which looked dodgy, so I ignored it.
The caller asked me to dial 222 and quoted a genuine contact’s number as having left a message, urging me to retrieve it before it vanished. I called the contact first and they hadn’t tried to reach me at all. This scam has reportedly been active for a decade and needs action.
The number is listed as Golden Dynasty but actually routes to the 1p EE voicemail service; my phone stopped getting calls or texts, then suddenly a flood of messages arrived claiming to be from Golden Dynasty about a missed call that never existed on 07953 222222 – likely a hacked voicemail line.
The EE voicemail number hasn’t caused any issues; I call it to retrieve my messages and consider it safe.
Initially thought it was sketchy, yet a voicemail did arrive after a short delay – after ten minutes I confirmed it was a legitimate message from someone who’d called earlier in the week.
A voice note was left by Sandra Murray asking why I had left a message for her.
