This number claims to be MBNA, stating that a purchase was made by my husband, and the funds will only be released if he confirms the payment by replying yes. The only alternative is to reply no, leaving no option to avoid responding unless ignored. However, this is my phone, and I haven’t made any purchases linked to it. The number isn’t registered as MBNA here, which raises suspicions. A prior message supposedly from MBNA mentioned another call (this one) coming through, but no number appeared on my phone. It’s also requesting details that could be accessed via settings or an email address.
