I got a text with an ebay security code i didnt request, kinda suspicious, dont know what they're trying to do

Ich bin heute auf eine verdächtige Nachricht von eBay gestoßen, in der steht, dass ab diesem Monat die Identität per SMS verifiziert wird. Um dies zu ermöglichen, benötigt eBay eine Telefonnummer, über die SMS empfangen werden können. Ich habe eine Nummer zur Verifizierung erhalten, aber ich traue ihr nicht und werde deshalb vorerst nichts unternehmen.

Upon attempting to acces my coinbase account, it appearently knows when i try to login, and each time i recieve a text with their verification code, also it's a telegram code fishing sms atack

A text message supposedly from eBay claims to have sent a security code expiring in 15 minutes. However, I wasn't using eBay that day, and they don't send such texts from mobile numbers. Clearly a scam.
