Expertadvies
Beware of calls that masquerade as Three’s voicemail service. Many reports describe garbled recordings, tax‑fraud threats, and requests for personal details, all designed to look like a legitimate network notification. Treat any unexpected voicemail from this number as suspicious, especially if it asks for money, passwords, or verification codes. Verify the message by contacting Three directly through official channels, and never share personal details over the phone. If the call feels like a scam, block the number, report it to your carrier, and consider filing a complaint with relevant consumer‑protection agencies. Staying cautious and confirming with the provider can prevent fraud.

Since the start of the year I've had nine urgent requests to dial a number just to listen to voicemails.
I got a blank voicemail – blocked it.
I get daily calls from this and other mobile numbers, each leaving a voicemail with a female voice speaking Chinese or Cantonese. I'm continuing to block them.
A call that was both invasive and interruptive.
Residing in Pembrokeshire, I get a single voicemail from this number about once every three weeks.
The service described is a supplementary call‑forwarding feature for Three when a call goes unanswered or the line is unreachable. My number stays +44, but the message says it’s unsupported by the operator, then mentions a SIM or connection error, loss of service, and that pressing 1 should reach voicemail 123 – yet the call never connects. It feels like my and my daughter’s Three SIMs have been cloned.
I received three separate messages.
I received two voicemails back‑to‑back, neither of which appeared in my carrier’s voicemail inbox. Instead, they urged me to call the provided number, which I refused.
It claims to be “3 voicemail” – clearly a scam. Avoid and block.
Clearly a scam; I've blocked the number.
Never have I clicked the “voicemail” link in those persistent texts – doing so would confirm my identity, which isn’t safe. I’ve tried to block the number but can’t; there must be an industry rule for this. We were with O₂ before, which worked, then switched to Smarty for cheaper, more reliable service, yet the number remains unblockable.
A text from 07782333123 claimed I had one voicemail; I didn’t call back and blocked the sender.
Looks like spam and a scam.
A text from 07782333123 claimed I had a voicemail. Though the comments made me wary, my ID Mobile service let me dial my mailbox with 123, confirming a legitimate message had indeed been left. It turned out to be genuine.
Within a half‑hour on July 5, I had two calls blocked.
Another reported scam call – I’ve blocked the number.
Received a text urging me to dial the number to hear a “voicemail”. Not interested.
A voice message was left, and shortly after a different scam number texted me saying “Dad, save my new number”.
They prompted me to enter my PIN and change it.
It would be clearer if they indicated that the notice is a voicemail informing you a message was left because a network problem stopped an incoming call.
Skipped answering. No voicemail since they charge for it. Suspect spam.
The number belongs to the 3 and ID mobile answering service; HMRC messages are unrelated, anyone can leave a message, and the line is safe, so no warning is needed.
This number poses a potential threat.
I recieved three seperate voice mail messages from this number, the contenets of which were unclear.
Information provided by user: Safe
This number is relatied to ID and other company who share the network, but its the mobile users own answerphone, not the actual number from the caller who leaves the messages
It seems that users of the ID network or 3 etc use this number to retrieve their messages, which is a separate entity from the number that leaves silly messages, which I've blocked.
Voicemail from 3 mobile.
