This number, +447520652013, appears to be used by scammers posing as "Hotpoint Home Solutions" to target individuals expecting deliveries of Hotpoint appliances. The scammers send texts or make calls to confirm delivery details, which may seem legitimate, but then follow up with suspicious requests to register for warranties or guarantees via dodgy links or phone numbers. Red flags include the use of a mobile number instead of an official Hotpoint number, and the request for personal or financial information. Some individuals have reported that the link provided does not work or leads to a phishing site. Others have confirmed with Hotpoint or the delivery company that this number is not genuine. It is essential to be cautious and not engage with this caller or respond to any requests. If you are expecting a delivery, it is best to contact the company directly using a trusted number.

A text was recieved claiming to be from Hotpoint Home Solutions, asking me to confirm my delivery and then sending a link to register for a free 10 year parts warrenty, which I didnt click
Recently, I received a few legitimate calls from a named agent at Domestic and General Insurance after purchasing three large appliances (Samsung, Beko, Indesit). Therefore, I was taken aback by a voicemail regarding my Hotpoint appliance, which I registered for a free warranty already with D&G. This call seemed to originate from a mobile, which differs from the usual number I have saved in my Contacts. Unsure if this is a scam or an attempt by a rival agent to poach business, I’ve decided to ignore it.

Hotpoint Solutions claimed to be calling, but since my phone identified it as a Simple mobile number, and most Domestic and general calls are scams seeking bank account details, I'm skeptical.

This is a clever tactic they use to sell additional warranty insurance by linking it to your delivery. Be aware that you'll have other chances to purchase appliance insurance elsewhere.
