A foreign caller introduced himself as Simon from Pure Choice, tried to fire off three questions before I cut the call short, mate.
Seems to be a scam.
A female caller claimed government affiliation and pressed for my personal medical details, such as COVID or flu vaccinations, to update records. I replied that this information is private and should only be amended during appointments. She argued it was her right to know, leading to a heated exchange.
Avoid answering – the caller pretends to be your bank to reel off personal details, then asks you to confirm your name; classic scam, cheers.
The message claimed I’d dialled the wrong number and blocked it, probably scammers.
Clearly a con – heavy accent, asked for Sarah, and claimed to be from the National Help Centre.
