They were scammers phoning about clearing unpaid debts, such as credit cards or loans.
Lately I've been hit with endless 07418 scam calls. I block one, and another pops up the next day, posing as debt advice or the British Medical Association to query health insurance.
Got a call from a suspect mobile number; the screen flagged it as a possible scam, I didn't answer, checked online and have now blocked it 👍.
