They keep dialing, but the line drops whenever I pick up – clearly a scam. I've blocked it now.
At 10:40 am on 6 August 2025 a call claimed to be from TikTok Promotions; I don’t use TikTok, recognised it as a scam and chose not to answer.

I have no clue who rang; after they hung up I blocked the number. I'm getting tired of these calls.
I received a call claiming to be from TikTok promotions and requesting a chat. When I challenged them and mentioned my TPS registration, the caller launched into profanity and ended the call with an insult.
They claimed to represent the TikTok shop, but as soon as I asked questions they disconnected!
The line rang a few times, left no voicemail, and is already listed here as a scam caller – I missed it and will block it.
Just now I was contacted by someone claiming to represent TikTok promotions; it turned out to be a scam, which I reported and blocked.
They tried to pay me a commission for TikTok promos, asked to send a WhatsApp, and when I jokingly suggested a pigeon with a letter, they vanished and hung up – proper bummer, innit?
The iPhone didn’t ring, yet a missed‑call alert appeared; the new iOS26 call‑filtering likely blocked this scam.
