Expert Opinion
Under a grey London sky this afternoon, reports of unsolicited calls from this number paint a picture of persistent scammers at work. Callers pose as reps from O2, Vodafone, Amazon, or even HMRC, pushing fake discounts, orders, or tax threats to extract personal details or payments. With accents often masking foreign origins and vague voicemails, it's a classic impersonation scam. Hang up immediately if you spot red flags like unsolicited offers or urgency. Block the number via your phone settings, report to Action Fraud online, and never share info over the phone—legit firms won't demand it this way. Stay vigilant to keep your details safe.

A lady with spotty English rang me, yet she wouldn't say who she was calling for. I rang back after checking the number since I wasn’t expecting it, only to hit voicemail where the message omitted her name, role or company—typical nonsense.
A woman introduced herself as Jennifer, spoke with an Indian accent and claimed to represent Amazon about an iPhone 14 order. I never placed such an order, so it was clearly a scam.
Someone rang claiming to be from Vodafone, but when I told them I wasn’t a customer and wasn’t interested, they cut the call. Looks dodgy, honestly.
It appears to be an overseas scam.
They rang up claiming to be from O2 and offered a 25% cut on my bill, yet I don’t hold an O2 account.
