Opinia eksperta
Be wary of unsolicited calls like this one, as they often signal fraudulent intent. These reports show callers impersonating major mobile providers such as 3, Tesco Mobile, Vodafone, and O2, pushing fake discounts, codes, or account checks to extract personal details. Hanging up immediately is the smartest move—never share info or click links from unknowns. If you suspect a scam, report it to Action Fraud and your network provider straight away. Forward suspicious texts to 7726 to help block these nuisances. Staying vigilant protects your data and avoids financial pitfalls.

It looks like a scam; the first user claimed to be O2, but I'm not an O2 customer, so I ignored the call.
A call just arrived claiming to be from Vodafone with a strong South‑Asian accent, saying I was due a bill discount; he texted a code, which I deliberately gave the wrong one, and when I asked for his Vodafone number to verify, he hung up – clearly a scam using a hijacked Vodafone line.
The caller said they were from Tesco Mobile; after I mentioned I would report them, the call was abruptly cut off.
Apparently busy – a number rang claiming to be from ‘3’ about my mobile, but I’m not a 3 customer, so I hung up.
