Said they were from Microsoft but wouldn't name who they wanted. Yank accent. I called them out as scammers and put the phone down. Good riddance.
Scam alert – why this number keeps ringing? - +44 7377 532845 (07377 532845)

専門家の見解
Looks like a classic scam operation – they’ll pose as banks, Microsoft or even BT and try to frighten you into pressing keys or installing software. Hang up straight away and never share personal details or click any links they send. If you’re ever unsure, call the genuine organisation using a number you trust, not the one they gave you. Keep a log of the number and report it to your provider or the Action Fraud website. Blocking the number on your phone can stop repeat nuisance calls.

Another line tied to bank protection alerts and fees on my account – same woman each time, identical charges as a fortnight back.
A hazardous scam purporting to be Microsoft support for my PC—I cut them off, but these typically lead to requests for remote access software to pilfer your information. Never install anything suggested by unsolicited callers, regardless of how convincing they seem or their claimed origin.
Pretended to be my bank regarding two odd transactions, instructed to hit 1 for verification, then I simply ended it
Fraudulent call. Disconnect immediately and disregard it.
No one spoke on the line, yet other feedback suggests it's likely a fraud operation.
Said they were from BT about online security. I let them know I realised it was a con.
Claiming bank protection? Utter nonsense
