After receiving a text about unusual activity, I contacted Virgin Money, and they confirmed the text was genuine due to actual fraud on my account.
Following a text from this number, which warned me about suspisous activity on my account, I was asked to respond with Y/N; afterwards, Virgin money confirmed it was legitamate. Additionally, a payment was taken and then refunded by the bank, as a precautionary mesure, although it was a genuine monthly payment. Since scammers are skilled at cloning, I would still recomend verifying the authenticity of the text with your bank.
A text was received regarding unusual spending activity, however, after verifying with the bank, the message timestamp was an hour prior to the supposed transaction, confirming it's a scam. Avoid it!
