Ignore that claim about 07474 being scams – my personal number starts 074 and a spare is 07474, so it’s not definatly true, innit.
Someone pretended to be Vodafone, warned that my SIM would be blocked in two days and even texted a code to repeat back, despite the warning not to share it – I just hung up, cheers.

I had a similar run‑in – an EE scam call that ignored my query about contract changes, then asked for the 1st and 3rd digits of my password to 'send a new SIM', so I hung up, mate.
