This number is actually legitimate. It truly belongs to Virgin Media Mobile Finance, who handle collections for Virgin Mobile. I received a text from them regarding a missed direct debit for my handset. If you're uncertain, you can always contact Virgin Mobile Customer Services who can confirm if the collections department reached out to you. When you call this number, they should inform you of the missed payment date - you can verify it on your bank statement, where you should see a direct debit followed by a credit to your account. They should also tell you what handset you possess.
If you get a text from this number and are unsure, I strongly recomend contacting Virgin Mobile Customer Services, they will be able to help you, especialy if you havent bought a handset from them

This is definitely a scam! Although the number appears to be from Virgin, it was not them contacting me. When asked for my name, I responded that they should identify who they were calling. They insisted on confirming my identity, requesting my name and bank details. I refused and asked them to tell me who I was, to which they replied 'Dennis', which is not my name. They apologized and hung up. I checked my Virgin account online, and everything was fine. DO NOT provide them with any personal information. If you need to reach Virgin, call 150 from your landline, and if you suspect a legitimate call, get their name and call back. It's safer than risking your bank details.
Regarding /03452340753, I had assumed my last payment with Virgin Media was processed, so I closed my account.
