After receiving a call last week from Premier Offers, associated with Direct Response Marketing Group, I was presented with three product offers. The reference numbers provided, which I later identified as telephone numbers through research, were 03451740586, 03451740598, and 08081108005. It turns out all of them are linked to fraudulent activities.
Avoid this number at all costs. They offered a free trial that I declined, yet I discovered a yearly membership was charged anyway. Complete scam.
They called today and didn't accept my refusal; I informed them not to send me anything.
Early in the morning, a woman called, mentioning a purchase from easylife and offering a £50 coupon for Azda, but only if I said 'yes' first.
This is the wellbeing club, a promotional branch of Easy Life, which is known for overcharging for poor quality products. My elderly mother had £77 withdrawn from her bank account for a £50 voucher and a magazine/catalogue. Then, £17.99 for a puzzle book! It’s unbelievable. My recommendation is to hang up, block them, and inform others. They target vulnerable elderly individuals. By the way, it was the fraud department at my mum's bank that brought this to our attention. I contacted Easy Life to cancel their catalogue and called the wellbeing club to demand a refund. The only positive note is that they didn’t resist my refund request.
An individual named Sam, with a noticeable Indian accent, informed me about a £10 voucher from Health and Wellbeing and 21 days of free medical services unless I canceled by calling a specific number. Despite knowing my details, no voucher arrived, and the company seems nonexistent. I suspect a scam and won't be calling back.
This number is unknown to me.
