It's baffling that such harassment is tolerated, and I've now blocked this number from Cabot.
In another instance of debt scamming, the caller inquired about a debt I allegedly owed and hung up when I asked for my details.
The location mentioned doesn’t correspond to Cabot, an old dilapidated building, neither Cabot 7007 nor 7027, with 798 in between. Several attempts were made, but all lines were dead.
A woman with an Indian accent called, claiming to be from a debt team. When they asked for the person they claimed to be contacting, I gave them a different name, and they agreed to remove my number from their list.

Cabot Financial’s website states they’ll send a letter before calling, so it seems like a scam since I haven’t received any letter.
Despite blocking a different number from the same caller yesterday, they contacted me again today from a new number. It is evident that this is a scam, as I have no debt. I have enabled the feature to silence unknown callers, and it appears the TPS is ineffective.
Repeated calls have been made by Cabot finance from a blocked number, which has been ongoing for months, and it is unclear why they are able to continue this practice.
