The caller was clearly a scammer.
Answered a call and they dropped it straight away – classic scam or marketing ploy. Expecting another ring tomorrow at the same time, I guess.
They said they were EE, promising a 50% cut on my phone bill. Couldn't verify, so I hung up. I'm always sceptical of unsolicited offers that sound too good, yeah? yeah
