A scam pretending to be Halifax claimed I was charged and had called six times without me answering. They sent a text from the same number, alleging to be from the fraud detection department. Avoid answering or responding.

A fraudulent call from this number claimed to be from Halifax, stating unusual activity on my card, and after investigating, I confirmed with Halifax directly that it was indeed a scam.
I've been getting alot of calls from this number, they called me at 59 minute intervals last nite, then agen from 08:07, I went to the branch and they told me its not ther number
I received two calls an hour apart, warning me about suspicious activity on my card, but when I hung up and called the number on the back of my card, I was informed that there was no unusual activity, and the calls were likely a scam, as genuine callers would already have my information and wouldn't need to ask for details.
