Expertenmeinung
The number +443330459564 is a genuine number used by Lloyds Bank, particularly by their fraud department. However, it's being heavily spoofed by scammers, who use it to mimic legitimate bank communications. Users report receiving automated calls and texts about suspicious transactions, often with a female voice that sounds authentic. While some calls are indeed from Lloyds, others are fraudulent. If you receive a call, do not trust it blindly. Always verify by calling Lloyds directly using the number on the back of your card or through their official app. Be cautious of links and requests for personal information. Scammers can be sophisticated, so it's crucial to double-check and stay vigilant.

Multiple calls over a 24‑hour span came from an unknown number; my call‑blocking phone wouldn’t let them through unless they identified themselves, suggesting an automated system that bypasses blocking. I’ve now permanently blocked the number.
Someone said they were from Lloyds Bank warning me about a failed payment attempt. I reported it to the bank and blocked the number.
The number rang, claiming the bank had reviewed all my accounts and everything was fine. It called again an hour later, saying it was Lloyds Bank calling about my daughter (using her full name) and that this was her home number. I confirmed with her that her card was fine after she cancelled several Uber payments, so the call turned out to be legitimate.
Three automated calls over two hours warned that my card payment hadn’t gone through and instructed me to press any key to complete it. I was at work without my phone or card, so I ignored them; they left voicemails, the third one cut off. I blocked the number and reported it to the bank.
Got a text and then a call claiming to be Lloyds about a stopped payment – definitely not the bank, pure scam, yeah.
That was supposedly Lloyds Bank, yeah.
A recorded call claimed to be from Lloyds Bank, urging me to press any key for a fraud check on a declined card transaction I never made. The Lloyds app shows no alerts or declined payments, indicating the call is a scam. The identical automated message was repeated three hours later.
Got an automated message saying my account was short of funds and my payment got blocked, cheers.
I dropped by the bank in person; they confirmed the call was fraudulent even though it used a genuine Lloyds number. Clever scammers, but I didn’t lose a penny.
Got a call on my mobile then my landline, they pretended to be Lloyds fraud squad and told me to press any button. Managed to hang up, thank heavens, mate.
Purportedly from O2.
I phoned Lloyds directly after receiving a couple of texts and voicemails claiming the fraud team had blocked a payment. It turned out the fraud team had texted me about a £0.00 attempt from IMMORTAL LACES on my card. Even though the amount was zero, it was a phishing attempt that the bank flagged and blocked, resulting in a new card. The number was genuine and the call came from Lloyds.
Someone claiming to be Lloyds about a stopped payment called three times in two hours, even though I never had a Lloyds account. Blocked the number, mate.
Confirmed scam by Lloyds Bank, cheers.
They keep dialing non‑stop and I’m not picking up, mate.
They said they were calling about a blocked PIN for a transaction; it might have mattered if they knew my name and that I have an account at Lloyds, but the card’s now blocked so I’m not hearing it ring every hour.
I called Lloyds back to verify that the call truly came from their fraud team number, and it was 100% authentic.
Simply checking – pleased to discover it was Lloyds’ fraud department.
The call came right after I used my bank card a few times and one shop declined it until I entered the PIN, so it seemed like a Lloyds Bank verification.
A automated voice message, supposidly from Lloyds Fraud Departement, stated my debit card was used, but didnt provide any furthur informations.
For those who bank with Lloyds, it's advised to review previous posts from February for important information regarding calls from this number.

Wow!! Clearly, someone has too much time to spare. Although a bit monotonous, going through the lengthy posts on this thread detailing how to handle bank contact could prevent unnecessary stress for some individuals. I had previously reached out to Lloyds to verify using the number on my card, so I knew the procedure. I was checking a transaction. Everything was authentic, but I'm glad Lloyds verified it.
These people called claiming to be from the Lloyds Fraud operations team, they usually call from no caller ID or 0333 045 9564, they tried to get into my account by getting me to confirm changes I didnt want to make
This number is genuinly from Lloyds bank, it may be flagged as spam, but it is not, be carefull when reporting numbers
These scammers utilise a female voice similair to that of Lloyds Bank, making the call seem genuin and authentic, they also pretend to send text messages from Lloyds, including one from the mobile number 07401 260953 which states "Lloyds Bank has noticed your Debit Card ending 0155 was used online on 05-02-2023 at 1:52:00, at Hand T Loan Centre 3 for £13301.38, this payment was declinded, if this was you please reply YES, otherwise reply NO, there is no need to call us, responding to this text is the quickest way to update your account"
It's crucial to be aware that this is a genuine Lloyds number, but scammers can spoof any bank's phone numbers, so it's essential to verify the authenticity of any unexpected calls from your bank by ending the call and contacting them directly using the number on your bank card
This number is NOT a scam!!! If you contact your bank to verify the call's legitimacy, the staff may not be aware of all numbers the bank uses. Even if they confirm a scam attempt, it doesn't necessarily mean the number itself is fraudulent. Spoofing genuine business numbers is a major issue, leading to important numbers being ignored or blocked. Please read through the posts on this feed for more information.
