Said they were from Lloyd’s fraud department

Uzman görüşü
Picture yourself getting an unexpected call that claims to be from Lloyds Bank’s fraud department, mentions a recent transaction and asks you to press a button or call back. The pattern matches a typical bank‑scam that relies on urgent demands and familiar details such as the last four digits of your card. Even if the number is listed by the bank for legitimate alerts, callers often spoof or clone it to gain trust. Always hang up, verify the request using the official phone number printed on your card or the bank’s app, and never share PINs or passwords over the phone. Report the incident to your bank and, if needed, to the communications regulator.
